The Wildflower Hall is located in Mashobra near Shimla in the Himalayas at a height of 8,250 feet. The Resort is located about 25 – 35 kilometres from Jubbarhati Airport and 15 kilometres from Shimla Town where the main bus station is. It is a 45 minute drive through forested hills from Shimla. 390 kms from New Delhi, 105 kms from Kalka Railway Station &140 kms from Chandigarh Airport
The Wildflower Hall was once the residence of the British Commander-in-Chief, Lord Kitchener and is now a luxury Oberoi resort. Spread across 23 acres of pine and cedar forests, it is a handsome six storey structure and the newly constructed hotel remains true to the spirit of the original bungalow in its external aspect. The interiors of the Resort are luxurious and inviting, with wood paneling, fire places and original works of art creating an aura of old world charm. Nestled in the Himalayas, it is solely geared for the wellness of body, mind and soul.
Rooms & Suites
The Resort has 85 well appointed suites and guest rooms overlooking magnificent views. There are a total of 80 Premier Rooms, 3 Deluxe Suites and 1 Luxury Suite. The Deluxe and Luxury Suites are more elaborate and plush offering more facilities than the Premier Rooms. The facilities common to the three types of rooms are air conditioning and central heating, bath robes, a 24 hour butler on call, a computer data point, fruits and flowers in the room, hairdryer, an in room safe, Laser Disc and compact disc players, newspaper, satellite television, shaver adapters, slippers, tea & coffee makers, telephones, a welcome drink on arrival, a mini bar and walk in wardrobes.

This luxury resort has many a desirable facilities to offer. There are 2 dining areas; Lutyens – The Indian Restaurant and The Restaurant and The Conservatory. Lutyens specializes in cuisines of the North West Frontier, fusion of the Raj and Himachali delicacies. It reflects an old world charm with its elegant woodwork, arched windows and a cosy fireplace. The Restaurant and The Conservatory is an all day dining restaurant with a selection of Continental and Coffee shop specialties. The restaurant opens onto a large terrace with an enchanting Conservatory that overlooks the magnificent mountain ranges and valleys. There is also the Cavalry Bar which is intimate with its welcoming log fire, classic upholstery and artifacts relating to the British cavalry regiments. The bar offers a choice selection of wines, spirits and cigars.

The Library is also located here conveniently next to a cosy fireplace and offers an extensive array of books.
